Make your unique pair of sandals and in this introduction to shoe making. You will be provided with a back part and sole template patterns and then you’ll get to choose your own front strap under guided tuition. Learn about what works and what doesn’t so you can get a great fit on your feet. We don’t use shoe lasts which means we can work around all shapes and sizes to create something really special to your taste.
The best thing about this workshop is that you will leave with all the skills to make sandals again at home using easily accessible tools and equipment.

Make a sandal in a day Workshop
As it is a practical & hands on, this class is hard work: be prepared to use utility knives, adhesive, hammers, mallets, shoe anvils, and to get barefoot!
I recommend you wear an apron and/or old clothes to work in. Masks to be worn during glue application and sanding. Bring your own or I will provide.
